In the early years Paul Nag learnt the trade in smaller bars and clubs. He knew from this early stage that he had a talent and this was what he wanted to do. He gained invaluable experience in being able to read the crowds, and keeping them interested in the music from start to finish of this sets, and this showed when he won 4 national DJ competitions. After a few years of learning the trade playing to a more student based crowds, improving his technical ability, it was time to get his name out in the genres of choice. Promoters from his local town started to book Paul Nag for sets, and he made a name for himself quickly with his style and ability, with crowds wanting more and chanting for extra tunes when his set had ended.

Move on a few years, and Paul Nag has played for some of the biggest brands in the industry, working for nights such as Hed Kandi, Miss Moneypenny’s, and Pukka Up. Working for global brands such as these, in some of the biggest and classiest clubs, is when the DJ bug really hit Paul Nag. Along with these big brands Paul Nag has been lucky enough to have supported and worked alongside big DJ names within the music scene. Names include: Nicky Romero, Dyro, Dannic, Joshua Roberts, Michael Woods, Arno Cost, Tim Mason, Judge Jules, Gina Star, Oliver Lang, Kate Lawler, Hardwell, Kryder, Third Party, DOD, Jason Herd, David Dunne, John Fitz, Wez Clarke, Howard Donald, The Squatters, and Danny Howard to name a few.

Currently Paul Nag is resident for the biggest Manchester based brand at the min, Bitch Promotions. With some of the biggest DJ names gracing the decks every month in Manchester’s official #1 house venue, Venus. Making his debut in July 2011, playing in the Bitch DJ competition, Paul Nag impressed that much that he was asked to be part of the line-up, and has gone on to play every month since. Along with all the residents, Paul Nag is part of the city’s best house night, with the biggest line-up of DJ talent, who are playing to capacity crowds every month. The residents know what the Bitch crowd want and give them a night to remember month after month. You can find Paul Nag in both the backroom playing funky house with the Venus residents, and also in the Bitch main room playing a harder bigroom progressive set. No matter what room he is in, the crowd will have a hands in the air experience, with the best atmosphere in Manchester, and his sets will be talked about until his next one.

2012 is set to be a huge year for Paul Nag. Along with his DJ sets for various promotion nights in throughout the UK, he is to start within the production side of music, allowing a more unique sound to his performances. Producing a number of bootlegs and exclusive remixes which will be incorporated into his sets. Also the launch of his own promotion night is imminent which is set to cause a stir throughout the North West, bringing some of the hottest DJ talent to the area.
